  • 1.3 pounds ground beef
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried onion
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 yellow onion (diced)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 3 cups spinach
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes (drained, chopped)
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, dried onion, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into four patties.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Sear the patties for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and diced onion for 2 minutes until fragrant. Add seasonings and tomato paste; cook briefly.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and stir in spinach until wilted. Mix in sun-dried tomatoes and Parmesan; simmer.
  6. Return the patties to the skillet, allowing them to simmer in the sauce for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
