  • 45 carrots
  • 3 cups golden potatoes

  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (for dumplings)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (room temperature)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Cut the stew meat into bite-sized pieces and coat with flour.
  2. Sauté chopped onion in a heavy pot until translucent; add minced garlic.
  3. Brown the beef in the pot until all sides are seared.
  4. Add carrots, potatoes, seasonings, tomato paste, and beef stock; simmer covered for 2 hours.
  5. Prepare dumpling dough by mixing flour, baking powder, salt, butter, and milk until combined.
