  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • ⅓ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry; season with salt and pepper. Trim asparagus and cut into pieces. Mince garlic and grate ginger.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and cornstarch slurry.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat; stir-fry asparagus for 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove from pan.
  4. In the same pan, add shrimp, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using); cook until shrimp turns pink (about 2 minutes per side).
  5. Lower heat and add the sauce mixture; stir until slightly thickened (1–2 minutes).
  6. Return asparagus to the pan; toss to combine and heat through.
  7. Serve garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
