  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 16 oz Cool Whip
  • 4 cups sliced strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed pretzels, chopped pecans, and brown sugar. Stir in melted butter until evenly mixed. Spread on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes until bubbling. Cool completely before breaking into pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla until smooth. Fold in Cool Whip gently and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. Just before serving, fold in sliced strawberries and half of the pretzel crunch. Top with the remaining crunch for that signature crackle effect.
