  • 1 pound breakfast pork and sage sausage
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 (17.3-ounce) box puff pastry
  • Hot honey for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the sausage, cheddar cheese, panko breadcrumbs, one egg, and thyme until well combined.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface; cut into strips.
  4. Shape the sausage mixture into logs and place them on the pastry strips.
  5. Brush one side of each strip with Dijon mustard and seal tightly using egg wash.
  6. Score the tops of the rolls and arrange them seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  7. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with Everything But The Bagel seasoning, and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
