  • ¾ cup peanut butter (for batter)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (for frosting)
  • 1 cup peanut butter (for frosting)

  • 3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a greased and floured 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking soda. Add milk, eggs, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, unsalted butter, and peanut butter until blended. Stir into the batter.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 35–40 minutes until a tester comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
  6. For the frosting, beat together softened unsalted butter and peanut butter until smooth; add powdered sugar gradually and mix until combined.
