  • 2 tablespoons dried hibiscus blooms
  • 5 cups hot water
  • 1 large ripe mango
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Boil 5 cups of water in a tea kettle. Remove from heat and steep 2 tablespoons of dried hibiscus blooms for about 10 minutes. Strain the tea to remove the flowers.
  2. Peel and chop the mango, then blend it with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice until smooth.
  3. In a pitcher, mix the strained hibiscus tea with 2 tablespoons of agave nectar and stir until dissolved.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour in the hibiscus mixture halfway. Top each glass with the mango puree before serving.
