  • 4 sweet Vidalia onions
  • 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Prepare the dipping sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sour cream, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and cayenne in a bowl. Season with salt to taste.
  3. In another bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, paprika, cayenne pepper, and Italian seasoning for the seasoning mix.
  4. Cut each onion into 12 to 16 sections from the root down without cutting through the root. Gently separate the petals.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the blossoms and drizzle with oil.
  6. Grill covered for about 15 minutes until tender and lightly charred. Serve garnished with parsley alongside the dipping sauce.
