  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup marshmallow cream (about 1/2 of a 7.5 ounce jar)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 11 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk or cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In one bowl, whisk together flour, ginger, baking soda, and spices.
  2. In another bowl, cream softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Mix in egg, vanilla extract, and molasses.
  3. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto parchment-lined baking sheets and bake for 10 minutes.
  5. For frosting, beat softened butter until creamy, then mix in marshmallow cream and powdered sugar until fluffy.
