  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons active dry yeast
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a stand mixer bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let it proof for 2–5 minutes until foamy.
  3. Add vegetable oil, salt, egg, and flour (one cup at a time). Mix until fully combined; knead for about 4 minutes until the dough is soft but not sticky.
  4. Shape the dough into 15 equal balls and place them in a greased or parchment-lined 9×13 baking pan.
  5. Cover with a dish towel and let them rise while the oven preheats.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  7. Brush with melted butter before serving.
