  • 2 packs udon noodles
  • 200 g fresh beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 white onion, sliced
  • Chinese cabbage (or any leafy green)
  • Soy sauce
  • Oyster sauce
  • Dark soy sauce
  • Fresh ground black pepper
  • Sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef by mixing minced garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, and cornstarch slurry in a bowl. Coat the beef and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Cook the udon noodles in boiling water for 1-2 minutes until slightly looser. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare the sauce by combining remaining marinade with dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, water, and potato starch.
  4. In a hot wok, stir-fry garlic and onions until soft. Add marinated beef and cook until browned. Pour in the prepared sauce and simmer until thickened.
  5. Toss cooked udon noodles and Chinese cabbage with the beef mixture until well coated. Serve immediately.
