  • 1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust (or homemade)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. Evenly layer the pecan halves in the bottom of the crust.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Pour over the pecans.
  4. Melt chocolate chips with heavy cream in the microwave until smooth; drizzle over the filling and swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for about 50-60 minutes until slightly jiggly in the center. Allow to cool completely for at least two hours before serving.
