  • 1820 jumbo pasta shells
  • 15 oz. ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cups fresh spinach (optional)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 24 oz. marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • olive oil
  • seasonings (salt, pepper, basil, parsley, oregano)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Boil pasta shells until just shy of al dente; drain and cool.
  3. Sauté garlic in olive oil and add spinach until wilted; cool.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta, half mozzarella, Parmesan, cream cheese, egg, sautéed spinach, and seasonings.
  5. Fill each shell with the cheese mixture and place in a greased casserole dish.
  6. Top with remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
