  • 370g bread flour
  • 120g warm heavy cream (for baking)

  • powdered sugar
  • ground cinnamon

  1. In a stand mixer bowl, mix sourdough starter, warm milk, and dark brown sugar until combined.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and egg; mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Switch to dough hook; gradually add bread flour while mixing until dough pulls away from sides.
  4. Knead for five minutes; cover and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (6–7 hours).
