  • 8 oz wide egg noodles
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water until al dente, about 7-9 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink; drain excess fat.
  4. Add diced onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté until onions are translucent (about 5 minutes).
  5. Stir in sour cream and beef broth; simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Fold in cooked noodles and one cup of cheddar cheese until well combined.
