  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 egg
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 3/4 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 34 teaspoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vanilla extract, spices, and one egg until smooth for the filling.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until creamy for the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle and cut into twelve rectangles.
  5. Score borders around each rectangle and pierce centers with a fork.
  6. Fill each rectangle with cream cheese mixture, followed by pumpkin filling.
  7. Brush edges with whisked egg and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before drizzling with glaze made from confectioner's sugar and milk.
