  • 3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 large egg yolk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F (180C) and line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Melt semi-sweet chocolate and unsalted butter together over low heat until smooth.
  4. Stir in granulated sugar, then add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract.
  5. Gently fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, dollop spoonfuls of peanut butter filling on top, then swirl the remaining brownie batter over it.
  7. Bake for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
