  • ½ c chocolate protein powder
  • ¼ c maple syrup (or honey or agave)
  • ¼ c almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • ¼ c chocolate chunks (Hu chocolate bar chopped or chocolate chips)
  • ¼ tsp instant coffee

Instructions

  1. Line a tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 1.25 cups almond flour, ¼ cup cocoa powder, and ½ cup chocolate protein powder. Mix well.
  3. Add ¾ cup almond butter, ¼ cup maple syrup, ¼ cup almond milk, and ¼ tsp instant coffee to the dry ingredients. Mix until it reaches a play-dough-like consistency.
  4. Gently fold in ¼ cup chocolate chunks.
  5. Use a spoon to form about 16-20 balls (1.5"-2" each) and place them on the prepared tray.
  6. Freeze for 15 minutes before transferring to an airtight container for storage.
