  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 1/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken sausage until browned (2-3 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.

  4. Add chicken broth, BBQ sauce, and soy sauce; mix well.

  6. Let rest covered for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
