  • 8 to 10 ounces Chocolate Covered Toffee Chunks (like Heath Bars, chopped; set aside 2 oz for garnishing the top of the cookies)
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cream cold butter cubes with brown sugar and regular sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in eggs until smooth.
  4. Fold in cocoa powder, flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt gently.
  5. Add chopped chocolate-covered toffee chunks and optional chocolate chips.
  6. Shape the dough into six-ounce balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 9-11 minutes until set but soft in the middle; garnish with extra toffee chunks before baking.
  8. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
