  • 1 cup blanched almond flour (95g) spooned & leveled
  • 1/2 cup hemp protein powder (35g) spooned & leveled
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder (32g) spooned & leveled
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup yogurt (unsweetened coconut yogurt)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 2 Tbsp almond butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, hemp protein powder, cocoa powder, baking soda, cinnamon (if using), and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, maple syrup, coconut yogurt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in dark chocolate chips along with melted coconut oil and almond butter.
  6. Spoon batter into a greased donut pan, filling each cavity about three-quarters full.
  7. Bake for 18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
