  • 12 slices Texas toast
  • 8 teaspoons mayonnaise
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter. Add onions and cook for about 15-20 minutes until caramelized. Stir often.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into eight patties slightly larger than the bread.
  3. Cook patties in batches over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes per side until browned.

  6. Assemble sandwiches: layer cheese, patty, onions on one slice; spread aioli on another slice before closing the sandwich.
