  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ onion, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat turkey breast dry; season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary; rub over turkey.
  3. Place sliced onions, celery, carrots in the crockpot; add broth.
  4. Position turkey on top; cover and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. For crispy skin (optional), broil cooked turkey on high for 4-5 minutes.
