  • 3 lb Ground Meat (Beef or Venison)
  • 2 Cups Italian Bread Crumbs
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 2 Sweet Onions
  • 1 Celery Stick
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 Tbsp Creole Seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp Tomato Sauce
  • 6 Tbsp Beef Broth

Instructions

  1. Slice one onion and line the bottom of your crockpot with it.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat and bread crumbs. Chop the remaining vegetables and add them to the mixture.
  3. Add eggs and seasonings; mix until well combined. Form into a loaf shape.
  4. Place the meatloaf on top of the onions in the crockpot. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.
  5. About an hour before serving, coat with tomato sauce and allow to cook for an additional 40–60 minutes.
