  • 500 ml milk
  • 100 g white sugar
  • 7 g active dry yeast
  • 640 g all-purpose flour
  • 60 g dark cocoa powder
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 120 g cream cheese
  • 120 g powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Melt butter with milk in a saucepan until warm. Combine white sugar, yeast, and this mixture; let sit until frothy.
  2. Mix in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla extract until combined.
  3. Knead dough for 8–10 minutes; let rise for about an hour until doubled.
  4. Prepare filling by mixing brown sugar and cinnamon; spread on rolled-out dough with butter curls.
  5. Roll into a log and cut into 15 pieces. Let rise again for 30 minutes.
  6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes until golden.
