  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ¾ cup lavender simple syrup
  • 1½ cups soda water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. To create the lavender simple syrup, combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Add ½ cup food-grade lavender buds, remove from heat, and let steep until cooled. Strain to remove buds.
  2. In a pitcher, muddle together fresh blueberries and chopped basil leaves. Add the lemon juice and mix gently.
  3. Fill the pitcher with ice cubes (about 2 cups), then pour in the lavender syrup and soda water. Stir well to combine.
  4. Garnish with additional blueberries, lemon slices, and basil leaves before serving.
