  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups seafood or chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (for biscuits)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Seafood Filling: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft. Stir in flour to form a roux. Gradually whisk in broth, then add cream. Simmer until thickened; season with Old Bay, salt, and pepper. Fold in shrimp, crab meat, and mixed vegetables. Cook until shrimp are pink, then transfer to a baking dish.
  2. Make the Cheddar Bay Biscuit Dough: In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Fold in cheddar cheese and add milk until just combined.
  3. Assemble and Bake: Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough on top of the seafood filling. Bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and filling is bubbly.
